Arsenal have narrowly defeated Burnley after goals from Lacazette and Aubameyang and Barnes for Burnley. Ceballos, Aubameyang, Lacazette, Pepe and Luiz all had good games. But what did we learn?
Dani Ceballos Has To Be A Starter Game In, Game Out:
Ceballos had an absolutely magnificent game against Burnley, getting 2 assists and being the midfield maestro. He really strings the midfield together and should be one of the first names on the team sheet. He was superb and if he plays like that all season, he could be very hard to buy in the summer.
Reiss Nelson Has Been A Bit Overhyped:
Reiss is a fantastic prospect and had a superb start to the season last time out, don't get me wrong. But perhaps the fans have overhyped him a bit. Supposedly the reason for Iwobi's game time (so Nelson get more minutes), can the pressure be put on him with the competition he has in front of him. Perhaps we don't expect much this season and was it right to sell Iwobi?
Arsenal Are Still Not Amazing At The Back:
Although the back-line has improved with the arrival of Luiz, the defence still looks a little shaky. Perhaps this will improve when Tierney, Holding and Bellerin come back. But in the mean time, it still is shaky at times. Even though we are getting Saliba next summer, I would sell Sokratis + loan out Chambers/Mavropanos and buy Upamecano to really improve.
