Arsenal former captain, Laurent Koscielny. Is set to join french club Bordeaux after Arsenal and Bordeaux agreed a £4.6m fee. Koscielny refused to come on the USA tour and Arsenal are set to be outraged of his unlawfulness to the club. The initial asking price was said to be around £9m but Arsenal have said to have dropped it by half price. This also frees up about another 120k in wages. With the releases of Petr Cech (100k), Danny Welbeck (100k), Stephan Lichtsteiner (100k), Aaron Ramsey (120k), Arsenal seem to have a lot more flexibility in the wage. Arsenal's main struggle in the January window wasn't the transfer fee, it was the high wages given to players so Arsenal couldn't sign anyone. So with a lot of these high wage, deadwood players leaving. Arsenal should have more flexibility in the transfer market.
