Who Should Arsenal Sign Next Summer

Continuing on from the last post, this is who I think Arsenal should + sell next summer. If you want to see previous context, go to the Who Should Arsenal Sign In January post. Anyway lets start with outgoings!

Mohamed Elneny - £16,000,000

Has a £16,000,000 option to buy at Besiktas

Shkodran Mustafi - £20,000,000

Yes, I wouldn't sell Mustafi yet. Unless someone matches the £20,000,000 asking price. In January we will need squad depth, something already low at the Gunners. If we sell Mustafi to one of the clubs interested now for £20,000,000, I would be happy. But I think next summer we should 100% sell Mustafi with Saliba coming back and Upamecano in coming (going off last post)

Sokratis - £15,000,000

Sokratis has had a decent first season in England but will most likely get minimal game time next season. Holding, Saliba, Upamecano and Luiz will most likely be our main centre backs and we wont really have room for Sokratis, who would demand first team football. On quite high wages as well, I think we should be shopping him around next season.

Calum Chambers - £20,000,000

Again, he would want a lot of game time. I think we need 4-5 centre backs, not the 7 that we have. He would want first team football and we could get his wages off the bill for a decent price. Well worth selling.

Gabriel Martinelli - Loan

Martinelli is a very fast, talented and promising winger but simply isn't ready yet. A loan move would be beneficial for his career.

Emile Smith Rowe - Loan

Smith Rowe is a talented youngster and I think the same as Martinelli, a loan move would be crucial for his development.

Matteo Guendouzi - £80,000,000

Although Guendouzi is a very hot prospect, PSG are reportedly interested in a £70,000,000 deal. Astonishing. He is still a very young and error prone player and I think we could push his price up a bit more after another year up his belt. He would be one of the most expensive midfielders of all time, come on a £72,000,000 is a fantastic deal.

Granit Xhaka - £45,000,000

Xhaka is a split man in the Arsenal fans. He is crucial to some games to slow the game down and settle the game if we are winning. But is too slow in transition when we are losing. Personally, I'd sell him as I think we could get better players who could do both. A profit is very good on Granit Xhaka.

Emiliano Martinez - £5,000,000

Emiliano Martinez is simply not a good enough number 2 for Arsenal. He is to error prone and is just not good enough if Leno is injured.

Matt Macey - Release

Been at Arsenal for too long, still feels like he's 18 when he is nearly 25. Fruchtl can replace him. Let him go.

Pierre Emerick Aubameyang - £85,000,000

Look, I know he is undoubtedly our best player but he is 30 and isn't getting younger. I think we sign him to a new deal so we can get more money out of him and send him off for £75,000,000-85,000,000. If only we signed him when he was younger.

Money Generated: £286,000,000

Shifting out mainly unwanted players for £286,000,000 would be insane. We could sign much better players too. I'm not even putting in Mkhitaryan or Ozil as I think no one would loan or buy them, nonetheless here is who I would sign.

Liberato Cacace - £500,000

Cacace, currently playing in the Australian League. Is a New Zealand born left back who would replace Nacho Monreal as a back up. He is fast, attacking and sound defensively and would be a good addition, especially being so cheap.

Wilfred Ndidi - £90,000,000

The most underrated player in the Premier League. He would be the midfield destroyer we need alongside Torreira. Although Leicester would most likely ask for an extortionate amount, it is definitely worth it for this amazing player.

Ousmane Dembele - £110,000,000

Reportedly unwanted at Barcelona, Ousmane Dembele would be a magnificent replacement for Aubameyang. Dembele, just 22. Would be a magnificent signing and would be a little more expensive than Aubameyang, while playing in his preferred position on the left.

Dani Ceballos - £55,000,000

Ceballos I have no doubt will be an amazing player for Arsenal and definitely should be signed up on a permanent. He has been great so far and I don't see why Arsenal shouldn't try and get him next summer.

Kellyn Acosta - £3,500,000

Arsenal club partner, Colorado Rapids. Have a very talented midfielder named Kellyn Acosta. He would be cheap as the clubs are club partners and would be a good signings for our youth.

Yann Sommer - £10,000,000

Sommer was amazing last season and would be a good addition as he would challenge Leno for the number 1 spot. He would have only 12 months left on his contract and would be a solid addition to the squad.

Olivier Giroud - Free

Now... Imagine a return for the french man. Out of contract at the end of the season, the 32 year old would be welcome back and would be an amazing back up to Lacazette and could push him for the starting spot. Imagine this signing.

Money Spent: -£12,500,000

WOW! A profit! Now, I think with this squad Arsenal would challenge for the title. So many good players all around the squad and a lot of good depth. Here is what the squad would look like.

#01: Bernd Leno

#02: Hector Bellerin

#03: Kieran Tierney

#04: William Saliba

#05: Dayot Upamecano

#06: Wilfred Ndidi

#07: Henrikh Mkhitaryan

#08: Dani Ceballos

#09: Alexandre Lacazette

#10: Mesut Ozil

#11: Ousmane Dembele

#12: Olivier Giroud

#13: Liberato Cacace

#14: Eddie Nketiah

#15: Ainsley Maitland Niles

#16: Rob Holding

#17: Ryan Fraser

#18: Christian Fruchtl

#19: Nicolas Pepe

#20: Yann Sommer

#21: Fabricio Bustos

#22: Kellyn Acosta

#23: David Luiz

#24: Reiss Nelson

#27: Konstantinos Mavropanos

#28: Joe Willock

#31: Sead Kolasinac

#34: Lucas Torreira

That is an impressive squad and lineup, I can see hardly to none dead wood players there. Perhaps that January you can sign another world class centre back and another higher class goalkeeper but that is a title winning team. There is 28 players in the squad, so it is not small and we have massively improved. This is what I would do, but what would you do? Comment below
